WellPath Partners Will Be an Advocate for You

Finding the care you need can be Confusing

WellPath Partners is here to help. A military veteran, now retired, Gregory had always been independent and hardworking all of his life. Recently, Gregory lost his balance and fell, breaking three bones and fracturing his left hip. While receiving rehabilitation at a skilled nursing facility it was found that due to his fall and a host of other ailments, he would not be able to return home. His social worker called a WellPath Partners Advocate to find help for him.

At first

Gregory was resistant to our help, but over time, the reality of the situation caught up with him and he welcomed WellPath’s advice. Throughout the process, Gregory had many questions for us such as:

  • What is an Assisted Living Community?

  • What is Residential Board and Care?

  • And what’s the difference?

The biggest question on his mind was Can I afford this?

WellPath's advocacy services were instrumental in finding him the care he needed to achieve wellness again and the means to pay for it.

With the help of WellPath’s network of partnerships, we were able to find Gregory financial assistance through the Veteran’s Administration; enough to pay for his Assisted Living Community. In addition, due to his limited income, we also found resources through Medicaid to pay for his medical supplies that were not covered by Medicare. WellPath's advocacy services were instrumental in finding him the care he needed to achieve wellness again and the means to pay for it.
